1. SPAY AND NEUTER: Spaying is the sterilization of a female dog or a cat not only to prevent overpopulation but also to reduce more medical problems like false pregnancy or its complications like  cystic endometriosis, fluid or pus in the uterus (called pyometra as seen in this picture above), tumors or cancer of ovaries, uterus and especially breast. Spay should be done at 5-6 months of age. Neutering is the sterilization of a male cat or dog. In general a neutered cat or a dog will be more docile or less aggressive and will be less prone to hazzards of roaming and injuries. It will also reduce the medically related problems especially of prostate, and the testicles.  We also do spay and neuter of Rabbits. To make it affordable, we have money saving  LOW COST SPAY and NEUTER CLINIC Every Wednesday.

2. VACCINATION To protect your pets from getting certain serious diseases, they are given preventive vaccination. We use the best vaccine Manufaturers and do not compromise on quality over the cost. It is best to make an appointmnet with the Doctor for your new puppy or a kitten for the first set of vaccination with examination to discuss health issues of your new pet. However, to have just vaccinated, at more affordable price, we have LOW COST VACCINE CLINIC Every Saturdays. For Puppy Series, we recommend vaccination starting at 8 weeks of age, if mother was current on "shots", or at 6 weeks of age (if mother was not current) and repeated at 3 weeks of interval. The following preventive vaccines are given to puppies: Distemper ... A very contagious virus infection which initially affects gastrointestinal tract with symptoms of vomiting, dirrhea. Then affects the respiratory tract cold symptoms or even pneumonia and finally affects the brain and spinal cord of nervous system leading to paralysis, seizures and death. Parvo and Corona. Both are very highly contagious deadly viral infections which cause vomiting, bloody diarrhea and death, if not treated. A new strain of Parvo virus is currently making many puppies sick. Hepatitis. Another preventable virus infection which causes vomiting, diarrhea and liver failure. Leptospirosis ... Contaminated water is the most common source of this infection causing kidney failure even contagious to human beings. Parainfluenza virus causes severe respiratory particularly with other mixed infections of Bordetella ... and Mycoplasma producing a syndrom called "Kennel Cough". A very new and very contagious Canine-Flu virus infection is afflicting many dogs in the last few years and a preventable vaccine is available. Rabies ... a very deadly virus infection almost leading to death. First vaccine is given at 4 months of age to prevent getting Rabies and also to abide the State and City laws for Licensing purpose. If your pet is going to be exposed to Tick infested areas then we reccommend Lyme's Disease vaccination. It is more prevalent in East Coast and midwest and even diagnosed in many Human beings through Tick bite. We also have Rattle Snake vaccination to protect pets when they go camping or hunting in forests or deserts where rattle Snakes are common and even sometimes a very expensive anti-venon treatment cannot save your pet if not given on time.

For Kitten Series, we recommend vaccination starting at 8 weeks of age and repeat at 11 weeks of age for Felocell CVR-C (panleukopenia or cat fever, Rhinotracheitis or Herpes virus, and Chlymidia or Pneumonitis). FIP (feline infectious peritonitis) and Feline Leukemia are other deadly but very preventable contagious viral infections. Two sets of vaccinations are given 3 weeks apart starting at 6-8 weeks of age especially when leukemia test is negative. Rabies in cats is given at 4 months of age and repeated one year later, then every 3 years thereafter. To make the vaccines more affordable, we have money saving PUPPY PACKAGE &  KITTEN PACKAGE

3. EXAMINATION:    It is the most important part of your visit to our hospital for the overall care of your pet. After a physical examination of your pet, the doctor can give you a professional opinion of your pets' health condition and if sick, will discuss any more tests or procedures to diagnosie  the ailment. You can ask the doctor any question you may have pertaining to the sickness and further care or treatment of your pet and its approximate cost estimate. After examination, the doctor will make a recommendation for you to decide which tests or treatment procedures you want the doctor for the care of your pet, within your own financial arrangements. Of course, more superior service in to-days’ technological age cannot be cheap but a quality service can be made affordable.

4. BATHINGS and GROOMING  We do offer medicated bathing service and to a limited extent the clipping and grooming of long hair pets. Please always make an appointment as it needs extra time to clip, bathe and dry. If we have not seen your pet , then we must do an examination before making any appointment for bathing or clipping. Some pets must be Tranquilized to bathe or groom especially if they have hair mats to clip and to prevent stress or injury to staff or pet.
